Why Do We Need A Revolution in Education?

Our children are Luminous Beings. They come Earthside with their own soul purpose and, I believe, it’s always to transform humanity. In this conversation that I share with Dr Edith Ubuntu Chan – way-shower, luminous being, light bringer – she literally confirms my belief as you will hear from her that this is exactly what her child has told her.

Guided by her son, Dr. E created the Luminous Education Revolution a journey into Holistic Education, Natural Learning, Awakened Parenthood, Homeschooling / Unschooling and New Earth Family Life. It features interviews with luminaries such as Charles Eisenstein, Dr. Peter Gray, Dayna Martin, Gabriel Miguel, Mas Sajady and so much more. Let’s be clear, this journey is not just for those with children. This is essential learning for all people and mostly important for those that are thinking they will have children one day.

The breadth of our conversation covers Dr. E’s own personal journey to her knowing and discovering a luminous life through conscious parenting. She is modeling what it is like to live deeply committed to the little humans before us. It starts with respect and continues with curiosity and a willingness to listen and lean in to their needs and asks - which can come in all different forms, not just verbal. Yes, the two and three year olds, even babies communicate their needs. One just needs to engage all senses and have a desire to listen not just with our ears.
