Normalizing Community Birthing with Megan Coppock

In this video, Megan Coppock, CPM, LDM shares some statistics and perspectives around community birthing. In Oregon the % of community births is only 3.7%, nationwide, it’s 1.6%. That’s abysmal. Community birthing is the natural way humans have always given birth - at home, attended to by a midwife and surrounded and held by our community. The more we know, the better we can do. Just because the hospital system exists, doesn’t mean we have to partake.
