“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

This is literally a Sanskrit prayer I have carried with me and try to live by for over two decades ever since I discovered it. Ummm…so, my immediate family might not see this reflected in my day-to-day interactions but, y’all…we all have work to do, okay?

Freedom is a big thing over here at Perfect Child. We are happiest and can have a deep sense of peace when we are free. In this testimonial conversation that I share with my good friend, June Farahan, she talks about how she was pulled into the depths of despair by the medical and educational industrial complexes for almost a year when her child was 2 years old. The labeling - naming the “problem” so they can offer you a “solution” that actually causes more problems - is so damaging to one’s psyche. It’s a hamster wheel and she was able to step off. When she did, she felt lighter, more free and definitely happier and empowered.

June felt compelled to share her story in the hopes of inspiring other parents who have been made to feel helpless because they keep seeing their child as “broken” because those in authoritative positions tell them so. June is here to shed light via her story. June continues to share her story and all her research via her substack here.

Please share this interview and her substack with parents of newborns and all those that plan to be parents one day. It could be your contribution to happiness and freedom for all.
