What Does Respecting the Child in Education Look Like with Brittani Johnson
In this delightful conversation, Brittani Johnson of Forge Acton shares what respect can look like in a classroom environment. Guys, what she describes in an Acton classroom is light years away from what children experience in conventional schools. Thank goodness for people who light the torch (The Sandefers who founded Acton Academy) and those who take that torch and light the way for others.
Brittani Johnson and her husband Matt, discovered Acton Academy when they were on the search for an education that would work for their family. When they came upon Acton Academy, they knew this was the right fit and so they started an Acton Academy here in Newberg, OR.
There are so many instances that Brittani shares in the classroom and in living the Acton philosophy of respectful education that really honors the development and the capability of each individual child.
