Saying Yes to Cancer with Becky Damgaard

What a delight to have Becky Damgaard on our podcast one more time. This time to share her own personal journey of saying yes to cancer, seeing this not as a death sentence but a teacher and recognizing that the tumor that grew could potentially have been a result of her own feelings of "not good enough" of "hiding herself".

Becky had been a long-time teacher at the Autism Treatment Center of America, and exercised the same principles of the Son Rise program to meet the cancer diagnosis.

The Son-Rise program is a unique and innovative program of love, acceptance, joining and celebrating the child and that is what Becky did with Bob the Blob, the loving nickname she gave to the "tumor".
